On Saturday May 15, X will mark the spot at Lucasfilm as the world’s luminaries unite in San Francisco for the X Prize Foundation’s Radical Benefit for Humanity: Making the Impossible Possible, One Prize at a Time. It will be an incredible evening of entertainment, intelligence and vision hosted by James Cameron at the Letterman Digital Arts Center.

Heart of Green became an early supporter of the X Prize Foundation because they spur innovation in areas such as clean energy, science, education, and the environment.

I am excited about the Progressive Automotive X Prize which culminates this September with a $10 million competition. The goal is to inspire a new generation of viable, safe, affordable vehicles that exceed 100 MPG energy equivalent (MPGe) and that people actually want to buy. Twenty-eight teams representing 36 super fuel-efficient vehicles from across the globe are competing right now in Michigan. I look forward to seeing who wins the ultimate prize and taking the victorious car for a spin.
