Sometimes I find something so eco-beautiful I
want to shout from the mountaintops. The Ya Living ayurvedic organic scarves are
that gorgeous.
They are made
with hand-loomed 100% organic cotton and infused with up to 40
ayurvedic herbs according to a time-honored Indian tradition.
The pretty yellows, blues, and greens are mixed from natural
organic herbs. What is your desire – building immunity, anti-aging, detoxification, curing insomnia, having glowing
skin, general wellness? Each ayurvedic
scarf has restorative properties. I am personally in love with all of them. They
have the most beautiful, calming and majestic energy. You can tell that an
incredible amount of care went into the design and creation of each one. Each scarf is made by hand and is a unique
work of art.
Ayurvedic fabric has been used by the royal families of India for over
a thousand years. It is revered for its beauty and rejuvenating properties. Importantly,
Ya Living scarves are completely fair trade and supportive of the local
communities. The cotton and herbs used in the scarves are organically grown in
a lush garden in Kerala, India pictured here.
I cannot think of a more beautiful gift to give than a
Ya Living scarf. They arrive in a magical
gift box that is sewn by hand and painted with traditional Indian art. It could be a present by itself! Anyone lucky enough to receive a Ya Living scarf is
guaranteed to shout yahoo from the hilltops. Available in boutiques across the country. www.yaliving.com

These days everybody seems to be trying to do something good for the environment and my family is no exception. So I shouldn’t have been surprised when my wife started talking about green fashion. But, I thought it was a little too extreme. In my mind, words green fashion conjured up images of potato sack like clothes made of hemp or some such material. I am glad that I was wrong. These scarves I very pretty and I am sure my wife would just love them. It is great that women can care about the environment and look good. By the way my wife recently found a site www.luxgreenliving.com which she really liked. It sells really beautiful, fashionable, modern looking clothing made from organic cotton at very reasonable prices.
