Quizzes, quizzes. Everywhere
you look these days, there seems to be another “what is your footprint?” questionnaire. Or perhaps you fancy the Carbon Calculator
Look no further. My favorite is
the simple, speedy, graphically appealing, and dare I say almost fun Ecological Footprint Quiz by the Earth Day Network.
I’ll tell you my number of planets if
you tell me yours. Don’t cheat. Go to www.myfootprint.org

I need 3.9 planets to serve my consumption. I didn't cheat at all. Your turn.
I met a few of the folks from Redefining Progress last weekend at the Bioneers conference. I couldn't resist their cute little foot logo, so I picked up a copy of their movie, "The Ecological Footprint," and a book entitled, "You Can Prevent Global Warming," by Langholz and Turner. I haven't watched the movie yet, but the book shows great promise and has plenty of advice for shaving off a toe here, a heel there. I'm currently struggling with how I'm going to live with 1/4 of a foot.
Also, from what you've noted on your blog, I think you'd enjoy Bioneers -- http://www.bioneers.org . Ok, so I think you'd LOVE it, but you have to wait a whole year for it to come 'round again. Until then, there's the Green Festival...
Great job with your blog!
